Sawtry Day Centre

One of the original projects, the Day Centre now meets on Wednesdays & Thursdays 10am to 3pm at the CARESCO Centre. Run by two paid members of staff and a team of volunteers, the Day Centre is for people who are elderly, housebound and socially isolated in our community. Members have a hot meal mid-day and transport is provided by a Cambridgeshire County Council ambulance with tail-lift.

While at the Centre, members enjoy playing games, chatting and bingo.

The Day Centre staff organise regular coach trips out for the members including the traditional Christmas shopping trip.

Visitors are very welcome and tea & coffee is always available. Extra volunteers are always needed, so please contact the CARESCO office if you would like to find out how you can help.
